Our Skills Clinics are taught by *CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS* (BICP) & *INTERNATIONALLY ACCREDITED* by the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) with the shared vision of changing lives through Mountain Biking.

➡️ MTB Skills Clinic Day 1 🚴‍🚴‍♂️ This will be a groundwork session with obstacles
 
Location: Meerendal Wine Estate, Durbanville
Time: 9:00am to 1:00pm
Cost: R750pp per day
 
Skills Covered:
•Body Positioning
•Braking Techniques
•Climbing & Descending
•Pressure Control
•Cornering at higher speeds
•Loading your bike
•Wheel lifts
 
What will you learn?
This will be a groundwork session with obstacles. Day 1 will teach you the CORE FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS of Mountain Biking, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been riding for or what your previous experience is, newcomer or more advanced. You will master the understanding and use of the fundamental movements on your MTB, giving you a solid foundation, building your confidence and making you comfortable on your bike. Please note Fundamentals does not mean ‘easy’ or ‘beginner’ but rather how you take your riding to the next level, no matter what level you are at now. These are the foundational skills needed to progress to more advanced skills.
 
NB***Riders have to complete Day 1 before doing Day 2 as all the skills are progressional and built on one another
 
🔸 SUNDAY 14 JULY 2019
➡️ MTB Skills Clinic Day 1 🚴‍🚴‍♂️ Groundwork session & practicing features on the trails
 
Location: Meerendal Wine Estate, Durbanville
Time: 9:00am to 1:00pm
Cost: R750pp per day
 
Skills Covered:
•Riding Singletrack & narrow spaces
•Drops offs
•Switchbacks
•Narrow Bridges
•Trackstand
•Approaching rocks on technical climbs
•Getting your wheels up and over features on technical climbs
•Small jumps
 
What will you learn?
Day 2 will teach you advanced control, balancing techniques and finding flow out on the trails. It will also give the confidence to start taking on more advanced features and how to approach them safely and with control.
 
NB***Riders have to complete Day 1 before doing Day 2 as all the skills are progressional and built on one another
 
What are the costs? Cost is R750pp per day (R1500pp for both days) Once you’ve paid for both days you are then welcome to join any of our group sessions (Part 1 & 2) back in Gauteng or when we return to CT for FREE (T&C’s Apply).
